In Wannabe Heir, Prince Spencer Lexington becomes tangled in a rivalry that is also a romance. The story keeps the series' interest in public image, family expectation, and characters who have to decide whether they are chasing a title or something more honest.

The Pretend Prince follows Prince Julius Churchill Monaco of Wimberly, who needs a fake girlfriend and finds himself dealing with someone he never expected to see again. It brings the series back to one of its favorite tensions: a carefully staged royal solution becoming much messier once real feelings show up.

These are light, sexy, connected standalones. Read them in order to enjoy returning characters and the expanding royal world, though each couple's main romance is complete within its own book. Start with Washed Up Royal for the best introduction to the setting and its rule-breaking royals.
