Series background & context
The Omegaborn Trilogy is Sara Fields's dystopian omegaverse series. It begins in a controlled city shaped by the aftermath of a Great War, where alphas and omegas are managed through suppressants, rules, and fear of what happens when biology breaks through the system.
Frenzy introduces Dr. Raven Kelly, a scientist working on the very controls that hold this society together. When her work takes her beyond the safe limits of the dome, the world she believed she understood starts to fall apart. The book uses the outside wilds as both a physical threat and a truth-telling place.
Frantic shifts focus to Triss, a character whose actions in the first book come back hard. Her story is about punishment, survival, and forced self-knowledge in a world where suppressed instincts can become impossible to deny. Fever brings the larger alpha and omega conflict closer to open confrontation.
The trilogy works best in order. Each book has its own romance, but the society, the drug system, the wild territory, and the question of freedom build across all three.
Expect dark omegaverse romance, reverse harem elements, power struggles, and a world where control is cracking from the inside.
