The Immortal Iron Fist Books in Order

That means the books can be street-level one moment and full-on mythic kung fu fantasy the next.

Danny is never the only interesting fighter in the room.

Later, Escape from the Eighth City throws Danny and the Immortal Weapons into a monster-packed hidden realm and turns the book into a prison-break fantasy with Davos waiting on the other side. The stakes are big, but the tone stays nimble.

That mix is the key. These comics love secret histories, impossible tournaments, mystical cities, and beautifully specific fight scenes, but they never lose sight of character. Danny is capable and determined, yet often a little overwhelmed by just how old and complicated his legacy really is. That makes him a useful guide through all the lore.

If you want superhero comics with swords, monsters, ancient grudges, and a lot of stylish martial arts energy, this is a great corner of Marvel. It is adventurous, odd, and much more expansive than the title first suggests.
