The Fringe Books in Order

Harper expects a comfortable Systems assignment, but the compound drafts her into Recon instead. Paired with Eli Parker, she enters the dangerous Fringe while questions about Bid Day expose troubling cracks in their controlled society.

Harper and Eli confront radiation and violent gangs on Recon deployments while Constance investigates the secrets of Bid Day. Eli considers escape to another compound, but a connection from his past complicates that possibility.

Two Recon members return carrying what Harper fears is a virus, and she faces imprisonment for speaking up. Meanwhile, Eli endures interrogation as hackers and drifters threaten the compound from outside its walls.

Harper and Celdon escape into a devastated wasteland, only to discover they must return home. Inside the compound, Eli receives orders to eliminate drifter leaders, forcing him to confront loyalties involving his brother and Harper.

After fleeing their former allies, Eli and Harper face new threats: Owen is captive, Sawyer is infected, and Celdon struggles with his conscience. Eli must weigh rescuing his brother against Harper's search for a cure.
