Psychic Oliver and DI Langham investigate more than twenty men implicated in murder and a mysterious ritual preceding the killings. Meanwhile, Adam flees a frightening encounter only to discover that his supposed refuge presents another dangerous nightmare.

DI Langham's stalled investigation into women found dead in a stream gains a lead when psychic Oliver hears a familiar voice. A female sergeant may act as bait, while the killer pursues answers shaped by his troubled childhood.
