The Copper Horse Books in Order

In a plague-stricken alternative London, a poor baker is abducted into the household of a powerful criminal. Offered comfort in exchange for submission as his master’s human horse, Reuben struggles with desire, dignity and the loss of freedom.

Punished for helping another servant attempt escape, Jack is sent to work in the kitchen. There he discovers the cook has his own plans for him, turning an apparent demotion into an unexpected encounter within the household.

A revolution disrupts Reuben’s life with Erik and exposes lies that threaten their bond. Forced to flee powerful enemies, they must discover whether a relationship built on ownership can survive the collapse of the world that sustained it.

Adjusting to life as Erik’s captive, Reuben discovers that his master’s growing attachment gives him influence of his own. But preparations for a lavish birthday celebration bring new demands that test the limits of his devotion and submission.
