The Amoveo Legend Books in Order

The Amoveo Legend is Sara Humphreys's main paranormal romance series, built around a hidden race of shapeshifters known as the Amoveo. They live among humans, belong to animal-based clans, and carry gifts that can include shifting, teleportation, telepathy, and dream-walking. Their world is old, secretive, and under pressure.

The Amoveo are divided into ten clans, including wolves, eagles, foxes, tigers, bears, lions, and other animal lines. For generations, many of them have followed strict ideas about bloodlines and mating. But the people destined to be their life mates are not always full-blooded Amoveo, and that fact turns private love stories into a larger political fight.

Unleashed opens the series through Samantha Logan, an artist who leaves New York City and returns to Westerly, Rhode Island. There she meets Malcolm Drew, the man who has appeared in her dreams, and begins to discover her own connection to the Amoveo. Their story introduces the central danger: Purists who oppose human and hybrid mates are willing to hurt anyone who challenges their beliefs.

Love becomes a survival issue.

The following books each focus on a new couple while building the same ongoing conflict. Untouched follows model Kerry Smithson and Dante Coltari, whose protective instincts are tested by Kerry's painful psychic gift. Untamed centers on photographer Layla Nickelsen and William Fleury. Undone, Unclaimed, and Unbound continue the fight through characters with different clans, different histories, and different reasons to resist the bond pulling them together.

The romances are fated, but they are not effortless. Characters have to confront family loyalty, prejudice, trauma, responsibility, and the fear of losing themselves in a relationship. The series gets much of its tension from that push and pull, alongside attacks by Purists and the question of whether the Amoveo can change without losing their community.

The setting moves between small towns, New Orleans, New York City, ranches, and hidden Amoveo spaces. That variety keeps the series from feeling locked into one place, while the shared cast and continuing civil conflict make it rewarding to read in order.

Start with Unleashed, then continue to Untouched and Untamed. The novellas Undenied and Unbound add extra character stories, while the full novels carry the main series forward.
