Series background & context

Taken By A Trillionaire is a collaborative romance series built around modern royals, enormous wealth, and the kind of fairy-tale setup that knows it is here to have fun. Melody Anne contributed Prince Christopher and Virgin to Conquer, and both fit neatly into a shared world where princes, trillionaires, travel, and unexpected attraction all collide.

The tone is lighter than some of Anne's darker work. There is still heat and emotional conflict, but the series leans into the pleasure of contemporary royalty. Readers get glamorous settings, fish-out-of-water moments, cultural clashes, and men who may have titles, power, or impossible expectations resting on their shoulders.

It is more playful than solemn.

Because this is a multi-author project, the individual books matter, but so does the shared promise. Every story drops readers into a world of privilege and pressure, where love has to compete with duty, image, and family obligation. Anne's contributions still bring her usual interest in stubborn heroes and emotionally engaged heroines, but the royal angle gives the books a shinier, more escapist feel.

If you like billionaire romance but want a crown on top of it, this is the lane. It is ideal for readers who want fast chemistry, glamour, and a touch of modern fairy tale without giving up contemporary banter and adult stakes.
