Sylvan Investigations Books in Order

A New York blackout cuts magic users off from the current that sustains their abilities. Storm-seer Ellen discovers that Danny, her partner and mentor, has vanished after a violent encounter, forcing her to investigate while the city remains vulnerable.

Ellen's latest vision awakens a disturbing memory in her half-faun investigator partner Danny. As the connection becomes deadly, they race to prevent another killing while pursuing justice for victims whose deaths have remained unresolved.

This collection pairs The Work of Hunters with An Interrupted Cry, following Danny and Ellen through supernatural investigations. A vision linked to old deaths and a citywide blackout that leaves Danny missing test their partnership and ability to protect others.
