Star Wars: Jedi Academy Books in Order

Jarrett J. Krosoczka's Star Wars: Jedi Academy books take the familiar problems of school and drop them into a galaxy full of lightsabers, droids, Jedi Masters, and impossible homework. They are told through comics, journal entries, sketches, school notices, and messages, so the books move quickly while still letting readers see how the characters think.

The first Krosoczka-led story, A New Class, follows Victor Starspeeder as he starts at the Jedi Academy on Coruscant. Victor has plenty of energy and big dreams, but he also has a habit of landing in trouble. His older sister Christina is already a strong student there, which makes Victor even more eager to prove that he belongs. Friendship trouble, drama-club nerves, classes, and detention all become part of his Jedi education.

Being Force-sensitive does not make middle school less awkward.

Victor remains the focus in The Force Oversleeps and The Principal Strikes Back. He has to deal with competition, changing friendships, pressure to succeed, and a school environment that becomes much stricter after a security problem. The series gets its humor from giving ordinary school problems a Star Wars spin, whether that means a demanding teacher, an embarrassing performance, or a new administrator who happens to be a very imposing droid.

The later books move to Christina's point of view. In Revenge of the Sis, she has graduated from Coruscant and begun more advanced training at the Jedi Academy in Jedha City. Christina used to look completely confident through Victor's eyes, but now readers see her facing a bigger campus, tougher expectations, unfamiliar classmates, and an apprenticeship under Jedi Master Skia Ro. She is capable, but she is also learning that being good at one school does not mean every new challenge will come easily.

Attack of the Furball continues Christina's training as her studies and missions take her beyond campus. At Last, Jedi brings the Starspeeder storyline to its next stage, with old connections and new responsibilities shaping Christina's path. Across the books, the stakes can include school security and Jedi missions, but the emotional center stays close to home: finding friends, handling mistakes, and figuring out who you want to be.
