Star Ka'at Books in Order

Intelligent alien cats return to Earth to rescue their feline kin from humans they distrust. Their attachment to two orphans, Jim and Elly Mae, draws the children into a dangerous mission that challenges the visitors' assumptions.

Jim and Elly Mae travel to their alien feline friends' planet but struggle to use its thought-controlled technology. Seeking independence, they enter a forbidden city whose surviving machines pose a deadly threat to their Ka'at companions.

Jim, Elly Mae, and their Ka'at companions journey to another feline colony, where ordinary creatures have grown into enormous threats. With the colonists nearly exterminated, the travelers must investigate a world whose ecology has become dangerously altered.

While exploring their Ka'at friends' planet, Jim and Elly Mae sense a desperate call for help. It leads to an island beneath a glass dome, where plant people face destruction by creatures resembling spiders and crabs.
