Huntley is always being asked to choose between training and trust, duty and love, self-protection and connection.

The tone is faster and more cinematic than Dodd's school-set romances, but it still carries the same binge-friendly quality. The chapters move, the cliffhangers matter, and the romance is never just decoration. Falling for Lorenzo changes the mission because it changes Huntley.
