Sierra is rebuilding after a career setback, figuring out what work looks like now, and learning how to live near her adult daughter without turning every disagreement into a full production. If you like cozy mysteries with a slightly older sleuth, a seaside setting, and a lead who brings equal parts warmth, improvisation, and chaos to the job, Spindrift Cove is a very easy series to settle into.
