Solitary Man Books in Order

Donald races to turn a rural property into a refuge before an anticipated solar catastrophe. His preparations meet skepticism from neighbors and family, leaving him to balance practical improvements with the challenge of persuading others to take the threat seriously.

A solar storm destroys the electrical grid before Donald finishes preparing his farmstead. As unprepared neighbors seek his limited stores, he must find a way to organize mutual support without sacrificing the supplies intended to protect his own family.

Wildfires, contaminated water, and looters force Donald’s group to abandon their farmstead. Carrying a solar generator and a protected computer, they head toward a former summer camp, hoping preserved knowledge will help them establish a viable new community.
