There are clear links to Eidolon Black Ops and Fortis Security, so longtime readers get a lot of extra payoff, but the series still gives new readers enough to hold on to.

That warmth is what stops the books from becoming bleak. The stakes are high, the violence can be sharp, and the secrets often run deep, yet the emotional promise stays steady, these people do not have to survive alone.

If you want romantic suspense with covert operations, international connections, and a strong healing arc running under the danger, Shadow Elite is a very good place to settle in for a while.
