Crissy Smith's Secrets series is a compact paranormal romantic suspense story, beginning with The Shifter and the Dreamer. It follows Sheriff Katy Rose and Federal Agent Cameron Morris, former partners with a shared past, as a serial killer brings them back together in Katy's small hometown.

Katy has spent much of her life avoiding the truth about her unusual ability.
