Seasons (Sadie Matthews) Books in Order

The Seasons trilogy takes the Hammond sisters and gives each one her own romance, but the books work best as a connected family story. Freya, Flora, and Summer all come from the same wealthy, tightly managed world, and each sister has to figure out what freedom looks like when money, fear, and family expectations are always in the room.

These are sister books in the fullest sense.

The trilogy starts with Season of Desire, where Freya Hammond and her bodyguard, Miles Murray, are stranded in the Alps after a crash. That first book sets the tone for the whole series. Luxury and danger sit side by side. Attraction is intense, but it is never separated from questions of power, dependence, and control.

Then Season of Passion shifts to Flora Hammond, who is in Paris trying to build a life as an actress. She gets pulled back into family scandal just as she finds herself drawn to the mysterious Andrei Dubrovski. The Paris setting gives this middle book a different feel, more urban, more social, and full of tension about who can be trusted. At the same time, the family story keeps pressing in, especially around the sisters' overbearing father and the people circling close to him.

The final book, Season of Longing, belongs to Summer Hammond. She wants love and security more than drama, but she gets a much rougher ride when a trip to Los Angeles leads to Jack Fiori and a situation that turns frightening very quickly. This part of the trilogy keeps the glamour, but it also raises the personal stakes. Summer has to work out whether the man in front of her is a threat, an answer, or something much more complicated than either.

What links all three books is the mixture of erotic romance and family pressure. The Hammonds have money, but that money comes with surveillance, dependence, and constant interference. The sisters are not just falling in love. They are trying to step outside roles that have been written for them by a controlling parent, social expectations, and the kind of wealth that makes escape harder, not easier.

Expect dramatic settings, strong chemistry, and a lot of emotional push and pull. The series moves from snowy isolation to Paris glamour to California danger, but it never loses sight of the family at the center of it. Read in order, Season of Desire, Season of Passion, then Season of Longing, and you get both the individual romances and the larger Hammond story that ties them together.
