Series background & context
The Royals Saga is the Geneva Lee series that made many readers start with a prince and stay for the trouble. It opens with Command Me, when American Clara Bishop is kissed by a stranger and wakes up inside a tabloid storm. The stranger is Prince Alexander of Cambridge, and the kiss is only the first problem.
Alexander is rich, powerful, watched by everyone, and tied to a royal machine that does not care much about Clara’s privacy. He warns her that his family and the press can destroy her. Clara knows she should run. Instead, she is pulled toward him, and the series turns that attraction into a long fight between love, duty, trauma, and control.
The early books, Command Me, Conquer Me, and Crown Me, follow Clara and Alexander as their relationship moves from secret desire to public consequence. There are royal rules, family objections, old wounds, and the constant question of whether love can survive being turned into a national spectacle.
The saga then opens out. Belle Stuart and Smith Price bring in a darker, more dangerous side of London in Crave Me, Covet Me, and Capture Me. Their story is still tied to the royal world, but it has a sharper romantic suspense edge, with obsession, protection, and secrets that do not stay buried.
Later entries and companion pieces return to the central couples at different points in their lives. Complete Me, Breathe Me, Break Me, X, and Be Mine Tonight are for readers who want more time with familiar characters, either through new complications, alternate perspectives, or intimate side moments.
This is a series for readers who like royal fantasy with a lot of heat, but it is not only about crowns and gowns. It is about what happens when private relationships are forced to survive public judgment. Read it in order if you can, especially the first seven books, because the emotional and political fallout stacks up fast.
