Series background & context

Rogue Diamonds has the feel of an international jet-set romance line. The stories move through wealth, status, and emotionally risky bargains, but the real pull is how often the characters are forced to choose between revenge and intimacy.

The trilogy gives you a good spread of category-romance staples: an ex-fiancé marriage bargain in Convenient Marriage, Inconvenient Husband, a Tuscany-set pregnancy story in Secret Baby, Public Affair, and boss-assistant suspicion and desire in Pretend Mistress, Bona Fide Boss. The titles sound flashy, and the books are, but they are also built on hurt pride, family pressure, and very human insecurity.

If you want fast, glamorous contemporary romance with a little bite to it, this series fits that mood.
