Rise of the Living Forge Books in Order

Betrayed during a battle meant to end the war, Arwin awakens with his heroic powers transformed into a magical blacksmith class. Consuming enchanted items fuels his new craft as he builds a future beyond the fighting that defined him.

Arwin and his former enemy begin building a peaceful life with an unlikely group of allies. When the Iron Hounds attack his smithy, their fragile refuge becomes the starting point for a battle neither intends to abandon.

With a rival guild defeated, Arwin sets out to strengthen the Menagerie through powerful new creations. Their growing influence draws enemies and potential allies into Milten, where the struggle to fill a power vacuum threatens their hard-won freedom.

A dangerous assassin investigates the Menagerie as its reputation spreads beyond Milten. Faced with enemies and opportunists at the door, Arwin must turn his growing skill toward protecting the friends who matter more to him than fame or power.

An invitation to the Proving Grounds puts the Menagerie against some of the kingdom's strongest adventurers. With new allies pursuing conflicting goals, Arwin must create extraordinary armor if his guild is to survive the tournament and its powerful rivals.

The Menagerie's tournament success draws powerful guilds to Arwin's armory, bringing opportunity and danger together. As he completes a new kind of armor, deeper corruption forces him to weigh what protecting his friends may demand.

The seventh Rise of the Living Forge installment continues Actus's fantasy series about magical crafting and combat. The announced sequel carries forward a story built around blacksmithing, enchanted equipment, and the pursuit of greater power.
