The Pushkin Bratva duet has one of the most openly playful openings in the catalog. A torn dress leaves the heroine hiding half-naked in a room at the exact moment the host walks in, and Ivan Pushkin decides she is the woman he is taking to the altar.
From there the story shifts into a more standard Nicole Fox pattern: forced marriage, outside threats, and a heroine trying to decide whether the man who claimed her is her villain or her safest place.
