The series starts with a heroine making history as the first woman to play professional football, which gives the opening book a nice charge right away. From there Hart keeps changing the shape of the stories. One book leans into a surprise baby plot. Another focuses on an M/M romance and self-discovery. The last goes in an M/F/M direction. Through all of it, the same team world keeps the books linked.

That shared setting matters. The locker room talk, friendships, team politics, and recurring side characters give the series a sense of continuity even when the romantic setups are very different.
