Old Preppers Die Hard Books in Order

After ten weeks surviving a solar catastrophe in the city, Farley heads toward a remembered lake cabin. Limited fuel leaves him stranded, and an encounter involving a mother and her son complicates his struggle to find safety.

Farley’s escape to the lake brings responsibilities he did not anticipate. As supplies dwindle and survivors become more dangerous, trading and scavenging force him to weigh his own survival against obligations to people who may offer little protection in return.

Farley struggles with the psychological costs of surviving a devastated world. Searching for food and shelter blurs the distinction between scavenging and theft, leaving him to question both his judgments and the rules that still govern human behavior.
