No. 1 Car Spotter Books in Order

Oluwalase Babatunde Benson loves identifying cars that pass his village, earning him the nickname No. 1. When a broken cart threatens the family's trip to market, his resourcefulness becomes more useful than his favorite hobby.

No. 1 puts his ingenuity to work as troubles arise around his village. From missing car parts to a flooded road blocking a wedding party, each problem gives the young car spotter another chance to help.

After No. 1 witnesses a car theft outside Mama Coca-Cola's business, more vehicles begin disappearing. With even the police unable to catch the culprits, the young car enthusiast sets out to solve the mystery himself.

No. 1 finally gets the chance to attend school and learn to read and write. But his new routine leaves little time for his grandfather, who has important knowledge that cannot be learned in a classroom.

A damaged road leaves No. 1 with no passing cars to identify and Mama Coca-Cola without customers. When the adults cannot get it repaired, the resourceful boy searches for a solution that will reconnect his village.
