Series background & context

The Naughty & Nice books are holiday romances set around Merry Meadows Christmas Tree Farm, and that setting does a lot of the work. His Holiday Bonus, His Holiday Surprise, His Holiday Cheer, and His Holiday Package all revolve around the Meadows family, winter weather, and the kind of festive closeness that makes feelings harder to ignore.

This is very much a family-centered holiday series. The siblings each get their turn, and the tree farm gives the books a built-in warmth before the romance even starts. You get cabins, snowstorms, airport stranding, fake dating, old crushes, and all the seasonal pressure that comes with wanting Christmas to mean something.

Fox and her co-writer keep the mood light and inviting. Even when a character is recovering from heartbreak or feeling stuck, the stories aim for comfort as much as heat. The result is a set of novellas that feel cozy without becoming too quiet.

If you want festive romance with a small-town family feel, this is a great option. The books work as standalones, but reading them together lets you enjoy the whole Meadows orbit, including the sibling banter and the sense that everyone is inching toward a better Christmas than they expected.
