MacKenzie Family (Avery Flynn) Books in Order

Avery Flynn's MacKenzie Family entry is a shared-world novella, which means it works a little differently from her homegrown series. Bullet Proof drops into a bigger security-and-suspense universe, but it still feels recognizably like Flynn once the sparks start flying and the danger ramps up.

The setup is fast and effective. Bianca Sutherland is chasing the only lead she has on a missing friend, which takes her into a wealthy, dangerous house party and straight into the path of former boxer Taz Hazard. From there the story moves into drugs, cartels, and two people realizing they are much more entangled than they planned.

Because it is shorter, the book reads like a sharp jolt of action romance rather than a slow build. That actually makes it a great bridge title. It introduces Bianca and Taz, shows Flynn working comfortably in a shared suspense world, and lays important groundwork for the later B-Squad books.

So if you are here because you want the full picture of Flynn's connected work, do not skip this one. It is compact, risky, and very clearly interested in what happens when attraction shows up in the middle of a bad idea.
