Even the shorter add-on books keep building the same world, where families overlap, festivals turn personal, and public embarrassment is practically a civic duty.

The tone is funny, warm, and openly emotional. These books like banter, but they also make room for grief, missed chances, second starts, and the strange comfort of being known too well. The setting matters because nobody in Love You gets to disappear for long.
