Series background & context

Love By Design moves Kendall Ryan into the bright, pressure-filled world of fashion, modeling, and the people who work just outside the spotlight. The series opens with Working It, where Emmy Clarke leaves Tennessee for New York and lands inside a high-stakes modeling agency run by the intimidating Fiona Stone.

Emmy's connection with male model Ben Shaw quickly becomes more complicated than either of them planned. He is famous, used to being watched, and carrying history that makes public attention even harder. She is new to the city and trying to prove she belongs without losing herself in the process.

The follow-up, Craving Him, continues Emmy and Ben's story as outside pressure, old secrets, and Fiona's control keep pushing into their relationship. All or Nothing widens the world with Braydon Kincaid, another model whose easy confidence hides a bruised heart, and Ellie, the woman who wants more than a convenient arrangement.

The glamour is never the whole point.

This series works because the polished surface keeps cracking. Photo shoots, travel, agency politics, and public image all matter, but the real tension comes from trust. Ryan uses the fashion setting as a pressure cooker for jealousy, ambition, desire, and the question of whether love can survive when everyone has something to sell.
