The two met years earlier in Ireland, so when they run into each other again in Rio, the book plays like both a reunion and a collision. There is history, but there is also a lot they still do not understand about each other.

That Olympic setting matters a lot. Rio gives the novella energy, color, and a built-in sense of urgency. Everyone is on a schedule. Every athlete is under pressure. The whole world is watching, and no one has the luxury of taking months to sort out feelings. Because Love at the Games currently starts and stops with Wild in Rio, it feels more like a sharp snapshot than a long series arc. Even so, the world is clear. These are sports romances with big-event settings, short timelines, and characters forced to make emotional decisions while their professional lives are at full heat. If you like travel-heavy contemporary romance, athletes with real stakes, and a story that knows exactly how little time its couple has, this series scratches that itch very well.
