Llandaron Books in Order

Llandaron is Laura Wright's fairy-tale flavored royal-romance corner. These books lean into princes, princesses, island kingdoms, hidden identity, rescue, duty, and the tension between public role and private desire. They carry some of the classic Silhouette Desire energy, but with an added layer of courtly expectation and storybook atmosphere.

That does not mean they are soft.

What gives the series its shape is the push between what royalty owes and what a person actually wants. A prince may need a bride for political reasons. A woman may find herself pulled into palace life when she wanted something much smaller and safer. An attraction that should stay temporary quickly becomes a problem because crowns, heirs, and public appearances have a way of making private choices impossible.

The setting of Llandaron matters because it lets Wright heighten everything. Duty feels heavier in a kingdom. A relationship is never only personal when titles are involved. Even books with a more intimate setup still carry the sense that the wider world is watching, and that love has to survive pressure from more than just the couple's own fear.

These stories also play nicely with fairy-tale echoes. The titles nod in that direction, and so do some of the setups, but the emotional core stays in modern category-romance territory. Strong attraction, emotional resistance, and fast escalation are still the engine.

If you like royal romances with a classic feel, where passion has to fight its way through protocol and expectation, Llandaron is a good fit. It is a smaller and more self-contained corner of Wright's backlist, but it has a clear mood and knows exactly what it is doing.
