Legend of Tal Books in Order

Retired adventurer Tal Harrenfel hides in his home village, where young Garin dreams of a wider life. A mysterious visitor draws them into royal schemes and an ancient war, requiring Tal to confront the legend he hoped to escape.

A damaging secret divides Tal and Garin as they travel toward the elven realm under a queen's uncertain commands. Social unrest, ambitious nobles and an ancient enemy threaten civil war, forcing both companions to confront personal and political dangers.

Tal travels east alone to confront Yuldor and seize the Worldheart, hoping to spare his companions further harm. Garin and the others follow, facing monsters, doubtful allies and an emperor whose plans threaten far more than their survival.

Tal, Garin and their companions approach the mountain fortress where Yuldor holds the Worldheart. Before facing the immortal sorcerer, they must overcome formidable defenses and a new enemy, knowing that victory will demand extraordinary sacrifice.

After Yuldor's defeat, Gladelyl remains controlled by traitors. With Tal absent, Garin and his companions must fight to reclaim the elven queendom, facing a civil war whose consequences extend beyond one nation to all of Aolas.
