Kingdom (Rhyannon Byrd) Books in Order

Kingdom is a bit of an outlier in Rhyannon Byrd's bibliography, and that is part of the appeal. On her side, this page really points to one crossover title, Alpha Romeos, which links Byrd's McKendrick warlock world with Madison Hayes's Kingdom heroes. So this is less a long, tidy series and more a wild side road into a bigger shared adventure.

The setup is gloriously high concept. A warlock, a soldier, and a resurrected warrior head out on a mission to rescue enchanted sisters and stop a much larger evil from gaining the upper hand. Colin McKendrick carries Byrd's side of the crossover, while Dye and Warrik bring in the Kingdom connection. The result feels bigger, stranger, and more openly playful than her category romances.

This is not a quiet book.

There is magic, cosmic danger, a quest structure, and a tone that knows exactly how outrageous it is. The story moves fast, the banter is part of the fun, and the stakes swing between genuinely world-threatening and knowingly over the top. If you already like Byrd when she lets her paranormal side get loose, this book shows what happens when she turns the dial up even further.

Because Alpha Romeos is a crossover, the best way to think about the Kingdom page is as a bonus read. It is useful background if you want to see how Byrd's McKendrick material connects outward, and it is a fun stop if you enjoy erotic fantasy that is not afraid to get weird, funny, and very big in scope. You do not come here for realism. You come here for the ride.

And it definitely is a ride.
