Jack Pembroke Naval Thrillers Books in Order

After surviving the sinking of his ship at Dunkirk, young naval officer Jack Pembroke is sent to South Africa. Commanding an inexperienced minesweeping flotilla, he must prepare his reluctant sailors to face German raiders threatening the South Atlantic.

Jack Pembroke has little time to prepare his South African flotilla for German submarines targeting a vital convoy route. With a Nazi agent ashore and enemy boats waiting at sea, escorting supplies to Durban becomes an increasingly dangerous assignment.

Sent from South Africa to the Mediterranean, Jack Pembroke escorts supply ships to besieged Tobruk. Enemy submarines and bombers threaten his small vessel, while memories of Dunkirk complicate his struggle to protect his crew and escape a collapsing port.

In 1942, Jack Pembroke joins a secret convoy attempting to reach besieged Malta, then faces a raid on an enemy radar installation. Naval combat, a troubled romance, and memories of Dunkirk test him as the Mediterranean campaign intensifies.
