Instead she meets Stephan, the hard, watchful man connected to the Ravens. The chemistry is instant, but the warning signs are there from the beginning.

What gives the series its kick is how fast Laney's ordinary life collides with his criminal one. Stephan does not stay in the tattoo-shop world.
