The title tells you the selling point, and Liz Fox delivers on it. The Hot Guys with Glasses books, Corrupting, Seducing, Charming, and Tempting, are all about smart, polished, sometimes tightly wound heroes whose quiet competence turns out to be extremely attractive.

Fox uses the nerdy-hero setup in a fun way here. The men are not aloof bad boys or openly rough alpha types. They are often structured, intellectual, and a little too contained at first. That gives the heroines something different to work with. Instead of taming a wild man, these romances are often about cracking open someone orderly enough to think he has already figured life out.
