Heirs of All Hallows’ is Caitlyn Dare’s take on elite-school dark romance, built around four powerful boys who have been raised to inherit status, influence, and the right to act like the world belongs to them. All Hallows’ itself is half school, half proving ground. The boys are watched because of their families, their money, and their futures. Rugby status, old family feuds, public reputation, and private scandals all matter. That makes the setting feel claustrophobic in a good way. Even small choices can explode when everybody around you is rich, connected, and deeply invested in control.

The heroines are what keep the series from turning into a parade of rich-boy swagger. Olivia already knows the Heirs from the inside and still resents what they represent. Tallulah wants to challenge them head-on. Raine comes from a very different background and refuses to be intimidated. Abigail is quieter, but her story brings some of the series’ most vulnerable emotional material. None of them exist just to admire the boys.

That matters.

The tone is dark high school bully romance, but the books lean just as hard into legacy and reputation as they do into attraction. These boys are possessive, angry, proud, and often spectacularly bad at handling emotion. The fun is watching them meet girls who do not fall into line, then seeing what breaks first, their control, their image, or the futures their families laid out for them.

Across all the duets, the larger question is whether the Heirs can become something other than polished versions of the men who raised them. That gives the series an ongoing thread beyond the individual romances. If you like elite-school settings, connected couples, and stories where status is both power and prison, this is the draw.
