Series background & context

Hawaiian Holiday is a linked contemporary Christmas series built around one irresistible setup: six women take a holiday getaway cruise to the Hawaiian Islands and find themselves face to face with unexpected romance. The tropical backdrop matters. Beaches, shipboard encounters, island stops, and vacation energy give the stories a lighter, more open feel than a home-bound holiday romance.

Each novella follows a different heroine, so the series works as a set of connected standalones. The common thread is not one continuing plot so much as the shared trip and the promise that a badly needed break can become the start of something new. Readers who like travel romance will probably enjoy that structure.

Fish's Cruising into Christmas leans into embarrassment, rescue, and the strange way public moments can change private lives. It is breezy, festive, and very much interested in what happens when a woman goes away to escape a mess and finds love waiting anyway.
