Series background & context

Harmony Glen is a cozy shared-world monster romance setting, a small lakeside town in upstate New York where humans and nonhumans openly live together after a larger public reveal. That premise makes the series feel welcoming right away. The world is magical, but everyday life still matters.

Honey Phillips's entries use that setup for lighter, community-driven stories. Festivals, town gossip, meddling neighbors, hidden feelings, and monsters trying not to fall in love all fit the mood. The atmosphere is gentler than in her alien survival books, but the emotional beats are familiar, outsiders, protectiveness, and people finding somewhere they finally belong.

If you like small-town romance with magical residents and an easy standalone structure, Harmony Glen is a comfortable place to wander.
