Series background & context

The Getting Lucky books take Meghan Quinn to Port Snow, Maine, and that small-town shift changes the whole feel of the stories. These romances are warmer, more rooted in family, and a little softer around the edges, even when the characters are dealing with real grief or old mistakes.

The town meddles. A lot.

The series follows the Knightly brothers through That Second Chance, That Forever Girl, That Secret Crush, and That Swoony Feeling. One of the running ideas is a family curse on love, which gives the books a playful frame, but the real hook is more emotional than magical. Each brother has his own fear, regret, or history to push through, and the small-town setting makes avoidance nearly impossible.

If you want Quinn with cozy atmosphere, recurring side characters, and romances that balance humor with healing, this is a very good place to land. Port Snow feels lived in, the family dynamic carries real weight, and the books reward readers who like seeing one town and one family slowly build toward a fuller happy ending.
