A college freshman discovers a portal in his closet leading to a world of dungeons, monsters and magical advancement. Learning that enchanted weapons contain trapped women turns his profitable adventures into a search for the person who cursed them.

College student James enjoys a second life as a well-paid monster hunter in the realm beyond his closet. Discovering more women imprisoned within weapons and armor strengthens his determination to rescue them while protecting the people of Hadden.

James has freed three women from enchanted equipment but knows others remain trapped in the fantasy world beyond his closet. With monsters still terrorizing Hadden, his suspicions about the baron’s soothsayer add another mystery to his rescue efforts.

Defeating an evil soothsayer reveals that a more powerful enemy is plotting Hadden’s destruction. As hybrid monsters attack its people, James continues searching for women trapped in enchanted equipment while confronting the force directing the assaults.

James nears completion of the enchanted equipment set containing the women he has been rescuing, with only a dagger still missing. Searching the dungeons brings him closer to the enemy terrorizing Hadden and raises unexpected questions about his own past.

After gathering the cursed equipment and its trapped companions, James discovers that his father is alive in the enemy’s captivity. Rescuing him may reveal how to defeat Hadden’s overlord as the struggle for the realm becomes open war.
