The newest Dune Island stories continue that mix of romance and questions from the past. In Aunt Violet’s Locket, Paige inherits a cottage from a great-aunt she never met and traces the meaning of a locket linked to a wartime scandal. The Secret of Ruby’s Lighthouse sends Meg to help restore her great-aunt’s inn, where a clue about the lighthouse may protect its future. A Secret at Windmill Cottage brings Caitlin back to an inherited cottage and windmill, forcing her to confront a tragedy she has carried for years.

The books are connected by setting and shared emotional territory rather than one continuing lead character. Expect family tension, inherited property, old letters and keepsakes, local history, and a slow-building romantic connection.
