Down the Rabbit Hole Books in Order

Stranded in another dimension with damaged memories, soldier Hunter finds a society collapsing around him. Four women with rabbit features rescue him and become his responsibility, drawing the outsider into an urgent struggle to protect their shared future.

Hunter leads his companions toward the Warren, a hidden survival shelter that may offer safety as civilization collapses. Reaching it means crossing hostile woodland, where armed wolf-like enemies and less understood threats endanger the small group’s journey.

Hunter and his growing group of survivors continue toward the Warren while doubts undermine the promise of refuge. Unknown creatures hunt through the forest, and even reaching their destination offers no assurance that shelter or acceptance will follow.

After a dangerous journey, Hunter and the refugees finally reach the Warren, only to find a completed shelter without inhabitants. The absence overturns their expectations, leaving the group to confront an uncertain future in a world already collapsing around them.

Recovering from another near-fatal expedition, Hunter turns his attention to replacing the medical supplies used to save him. A newly discovered outpost offers a possible source, while the growing threat farther south complicates plans to secure the Warren.

A blizzard forces Hunter to postpone action beyond the Warren and concentrate on the people sheltering inside. Settling new refugees, preparing defenders and maintaining his relationships become urgent responsibilities while the snow temporarily interrupts the wider conflict.

When the blizzard ends, dwindling food reserves threaten the Warren’s survivors. Hunter assembles an expedition to a distribution center south of the forest, hoping to prevent starvation while facing the uncertain dangers concealed around their intended supply source.

With the Warren supplied again, Hunter follows intelligence recovered from a drone into the southern plains. A mission to rescue captives and confront hostile forces soon reveals another threat, preventing the survivors from settling into their newly improved circumstances.

Hunter’s alliance with a deer operative offers help against the Warren’s enemies in exchange for intelligence about mysterious attackers. Before that broader struggle can advance, they must journey west to obtain technology essential to keeping their refuge intact.

Repairs have brought the Warren close to lasting safety, but one rare component is still missing. Hunter leads an expedition toward the coast to recover it, knowing remaining enemies must be dealt with before his community can truly rest.

After two months of protecting refugees and fighting through a collapsing world, Hunter sees an opportunity to end the conflict. His enemies appear weakened or unusually quiet, but completing the final campaign still stands between the Warren and peace.

Waking after a prolonged coma, Hunter finds that the war threatening the Warren has finally ended. Battered and uncertain of his own recovery, he must learn how to lead and live among the people he protected during peacetime.
