Solo likes his life uncomplicated until Lara steals his cut and keeps crashing back into it. Her family's trouble drags danger to the Depraved Devils, and their explosive attraction stops being something either can brush off.

Series background & context
Depraved Devils MC starts with Riding Solo, and the tone is exactly what the title promises, sharp, fast, and a little reckless. This is a Nicola Jane biker world where chemistry begins in irritation and keeps getting worse, or better, depending on how much chaos you enjoy.
Solo does not want complications. Lara is basically a complication with legs.
Their first clash comes from a stolen club cut, which tells you a lot about the series mood straight away. Lara is impulsive, loud, and harder to shake than Solo expects. He is the sort of biker who would rather ride alone and keep women at a distance, until that stops feeling possible. The relationship hook is simple, but effective, two people who should stay away from each other and absolutely do not.
What gives the book its shape beyond the attraction is the way family trouble spills into club trouble. Lara's brothers, debts, and bad decisions drag danger closer, and the romance becomes tied to protection, territory, and consequences. Nicola Jane likes writing couples who meet in the middle of a mess rather than before it, and this series opener fits that pattern well.
If Depraved Devils grows from here, the page suggests a world built on possessive heroes, club threats, and heroines who are not especially good at staying out of trouble. It is less about soft comfort and more about combustible chemistry, stubbornness, and what happens when someone who lives alone starts acting like another person's safety matters more than his own peace.
It is a loud start, in a good way.
