Hero and Virgin push the bigger Zetithian story forward, especially the question of whether any women of the species survived and what a future for the survivors might look like. Stud, Wildcat, and Rebel keep the focus on one romance at a time, but they also make the shared universe feel fuller as old enemies, missing people, and long-buried truths start circling back.
