The Brutal Birthright series is Sophie Lark’s entry point into a dangerous, addictive Chicago underworld. Broken Vow pairs icy lawyer Riona Griffin with Raylan Boone, a charming southern ex-soldier hired to protect her from an assassin, dragging her out of Chicago and onto his family ranch.

The series closes with Heavy Crown, where a calculating Gallo heir makes the worst possible choice for peace: he rescues Yelena Yenina, the ferocious daughter of a rival Bratva boss, instead of leaving her to die. Their relationship forces the Griffins, Gallos, and the Russian mafia into one last, explosive reckoning.
