BOHICA Chronicles Books in Order

The BOHICA Chronicles are co-written, energetic, and a little rougher around the edges in a fun way. Instead of following a polished official unit, the series throws its weight behind three ex-military friends who need money fast and end up building a mercenary company in a very unforgiving part of the world.

That setup gives the books their personality. Charles, Booker, and Roo are not starting from comfort or authority. They are scrambling. They need contracts, contacts, and a reputation, and they have to build all three while working in territory where one bad assumption can get them killed. The company they form, BOHICA, comes with exactly the kind of name you would expect from soldiers trying to laugh while everything gets worse.

The setting does a lot of work here.

These books take place in a dangerous zone where competing interests, local power, and plain old violence overlap. So while Reprobates, Degenerates, Redeemables, and Thor all deliver action, they also lean into the day-to-day uncertainty of contract warfare. Who is telling the truth? Who is paying? Which mission is really a trap? That ambiguity is part of the fun.

Because it is collaborative, the tone is a little broader than some of Brazee's solo work. There is more swagger, more banter, and more chaotic group energy. But the military backbone is still there. Training matters. Trust matters. Bad plans get people hurt.
