Blade of the Immortal Manga synopsis
Manji is a masterless swordsman cursed with immortality after a lifetime of killing. To earn release from the curse, he must defeat one thousand evil men. He agrees to protect Rin Asano, whose parents were murdered by the Itto-ryu sword school, and their revenge quest pulls them into a violent struggle over the future of Japan’s martial traditions.
