Series background & context

Tamika Brown's Billionaire's Infatuation books are contemporary romances built around money, control, and people who do not plan to fall as hard as they do. The series lives in boardrooms, luxury travel, and polished power spaces, but Brown does not treat wealth as the whole story. The emotional hook is usually trust. These are books about guarded men, women with their own reasons to stay careful, and the trouble that starts when attraction stops feeling convenient.

A Billionaire's Infatuation sets the tone. Remi McMillian takes a job working for Tony St. Clair after heartbreak and a move to New York, and the setup gives Brown a strong boss and assistant dynamic to play with. A business trip to Chicago shifts their connection from tense workplace chemistry to something more personal, but the book keeps reminding readers that Tony's past is not finished with him.

The later books widen that circle instead of simply repeating it. A Billionaire's Love follows Erica Faulk as she tries to get her footing back and collides with Martin Wright in Chicago, where hidden identity and real danger complicate the fantasy. A Billionaire's Heart goes darker and more protective, pairing hard-edged Steven Smith with Tisha McLean, the retired Naval officer hired to guard him.

That progression is a big part of the appeal. The series starts with classic billionaire romance ingredients, then keeps folding in more suspense, more damaged history, and more morally messy heroes. Brown likes men who are used to getting their way, but she usually matches them with women who push back, ask questions, and refuse to disappear into the fantasy.

So if you are coming here for glitter and private jets alone, that is only part of the package. These books also lean on hidden enemies, attempted violence, and the emotional cost of opening up to someone powerful. The result is a connected romance series that stays glossy on the surface while keeping real tension underneath.
