Series background & context

Band on the Run is Samantha Chase's music-and-celebrity romance lane. The books trade small-town businesses and wedding offices for rock stars, public image, touring pressure, and the question of whether people in the spotlight can still build something real when everybody is watching.

One More Kiss opens with a rock star trying to step away from the noise and unexpectedly finding love in North Carolina with the sister of his best friend. One More Promise shifts to a fallen idol trying to rebuild his life while working with a publicist who is not sure he is worth the risk. Later entries continue that same mix of fame, emotional recovery, and romance pushing through a life that is already complicated.

These stories are still recognizably Chase. The emotional beats stay warm and hopeful. But there is a little more glamour, a little more public pressure, and more tension between private feelings and public persona.

If you like celebrity romance with musicians who are tired, bruised, and unexpectedly ready for something real, this series is the one to pick up.
