Avalar Explored Books in Order

Blacksmith's apprentice Jace Blackbriar hopes to support his family without becoming an adventurer, but a violent betrayal and a destroyed magical object transform him into an incubus. Forced into a hostile world where former fellow humans now see him as a target, he must learn to survive.

Seeking revenge for earlier betrayals, Jace and his companions travel toward a city controlled by a powerful warlord. Dungeon expeditions, new alliances, and growing supernatural abilities become essential to preparing an attack, while hidden rivals pursue agendas that threaten his plans.

After crossing a vast storm barrier, Jace's company descends beneath the waves to recover a relic stolen from the Queen of Dragons. Pursuing enemies and returning rivals threaten the expedition as the companions gain power and explore the dangers of the hidden world below.

Escaping into the Shadow Realm brings Jace before the gods, who charge him with preventing Avalar's destruction. Forming a new pantheon with his companions, he must confront established divine powers before facing the warlord and the masters behind a threat greater than their former conflicts.

Pursued by a warlord's navy, Jace Blackbriar and his adventuring companions sail the Tempest Sea seeking a secure base. Piracy, exploration, and new opportunities offer a possible future, but military hunters and powerful magical enemies make even a hidden refuge uncertain.
